Which number to call for fire station?

If my house catches fire and don't have alarm system hooked up, which number do I have to call for fire station. Is there are common number like 911? I know 911 is for life threatening emergency. Fire might not always life threatening and not all the time. So in that case, which number to call?

admin 		You can either call 311 which city helpline to connect to fire department or call 713-884-3131 if you are outside city limits. Your fire station number 96 at 7409 Willowchase Blvd. You can check more details as per zip code at http://cbtcws.cityofhouston.gov/zipcodes/default.htm
