What is the average membership fee at a houston tennis club?

I am looking to play tennis at a houston club but not country club. will I be able to get a club with a monthly dues of about 50-60 bucks??

If you have the names of the clubs, check their web pages. Look in your city guide online to see what is listed under recreation. The U.S. Tennis Association has a web page that might direct you further. www.USTA.com or .org. If you join this organization, they will find you someone to play with. There is a sign up special during the U.S. Open tennis tourney in the Fall where you can get a few dollars off your membership.

I am in ND where my husband and I pay $150 per month to the racquet club. The membership allows us to play 2 hours per day indoor tennis, reserve courts one week in advance, racquetball, weight facility, various classes, locker rooms and towel service. We have only one indoor playing option for tennis. We join for six months. During the summer, we belong to the local tennis association and play outside for free. There is a modest league fee and a couple of tournaments.
