Mixed Martial Arts training and description and trainin gyms located in houston?

Im interested in participatin in MMA and learn how to defend myself and fight also. I consider myself just a normal fighter but i thnk MMA is very cool and wanted to know wat exactly it is about. Also, if there were any gyms in houston where a master could help me get stronger and learn this art. Please help cuz im very eager to start my intense training and be better.
