Is driving real slow a Houston thing, or a Texas thing?

I've noticed for about 5 years now how slow people in Houston drive (most keep it under the speed limit). Is this something that's common only in Houston, or does all of Texas do that? I haven't traveled much of Texas.
You people that are saying people drive so fast must be the ones driving so slow, and everyone is passing you.

JustAskHouston 		It might be just wherever many immigrants live like Florida, Houston, Dallas etc., I noticed that by tracking the similarities in driving diffferent cities. They just don't know the rules a lot and try to extra careful. It reminds of a joke my coworkers shared during a Toastmaster meeting. He was asked a question, "What will you want to do if you have control of doing something?". He said first thing I would is to fit in a electronic speed increaser which will increase the speed of the car infront of you if they go real slow or slower than traffic.

It gets worse when you are driving in one lane road and had to follow the dump driver who drives in 30 when the speed limit is 45. Just follow the damp speed limit atleast.

tmvijai 		It's a SOUTHERN thing. They do it in Florida too LOL! Houston definitely has its surplus of slow dumb drivers but I hear a lot of big cities are like that. No one knows how to use their signals when they turn and/or change lanes.

ARobert 		It must be where you're driving b/c I have people pass me all of the time & I'm driving the posted speed limit.

SultanE 		Where on earth of you driving? I can't keep to the speed limit on the freeways for fear of getting run over. Everyone speeds where I'm at.

SmithK 		I dont know where youve been driving but Im the only one on 45 that goes the speed limit! I drive 65mph and everybody passes me!

I average 80-85 on the tollway, in the second lane. People pass ME!
