I just moved to Houston from Ohio and I was wondering what are the best restaurants?

where can I get the best burgers..mexican..chinese..pizza..bars..other random great things? I live by the med center and reliant park so something close to there would be amazing. Nothing to fancy though as I am a student.

Mexican: You will never go wrong with Mama Nifa's on Navigation, the ORIGINAL, all the rest suck (they are a chain).

Greatest pub food in the world, go to The Black Lab on Montrose.

Greek, Niko Niko's on Montrose.

La Carafe, oldest wine bar in Houston, it is downtown.

For Deli food there is a place on Westheimer off Montrose called Katz's Deli that is open 24/7 and they have alcohol there ;)

Taco Milagro on Kirby, low priced but a Top Notch Chef!

Hit the Theaters! The butterfly exhibit is awesome and there is an outdoor theater called Miller Outdoor Theater, free lawn seating and they have cool stuff going on like 9 months to all year round.

That should keep you busy for a bit! Enjoy the city and when you decide to come visit Seattle we can be tour guides for you :D
