How much would it cost for me to ship my Camry from Philly to Houston?

I just made the 25 hour drive from tx to pa month ago out here and i dont really want to live out here anymore but i dont really want to make the 25 hour drive back and risk getting another speeding ticket.. so i was thinking about shipping my car back home and flying.. i also spent about 500 on my move up here.. so how much would it cost and what would seem more cost effective?

JustAskHouston 		It will surely cost you more than $750. I costed me $800 when I moved my car from Boston like 5 years ago. If its covered by your employer, I would encourage you to do it. If not shipping via train would be best choice if its cheap. Otherwise take a roadtrip and you will surely save a lot of money. Also these movers are really tricky to work with. Even the big movers, they subcontract to local truck movers and they try to milk as much money possible out of agreement. So be extra careful.

PriyaM 		I'll guess about $500 but call any auto transporter for a quote. It will depend on how you ship it. Cheapest is an auto drive away company that let's people who want to "rent" a car for a one way trip drive your car for free without any rental charge. You pay a commission plus a gas charge but it could be a month or two to find someone going to your destination. There are large auto transporter companies who will put it on a semi trailer truck within days. In between are smaller independent people who tow two or three cars on a smaller trailer behind a pickup.
