Anyone know how much it will cost to ship a 13pounds puppy from southern california to houston texas?

And if you could also lets me know where i could take my dog to, to ship it in southern califronia please.

A *MINIMUM* of $200 just for the fare..add another hundred PLUS-$200?- for taxes the crate,HEALTH cert.from the vet
Fees are based on size of crate *&* weight of dog & crate.

You GO TO THE AIRPORT!!!
duh

DONE it dozens of times-NOT guessing.

ARobert 		I looked into it and American Airlines charger $100 if you are flying with it and it will be in the cabin with you; safest and best, or $150 to ship it in luggage which puts quite a bit of stress on your puppy. If you just bought it and have the means to do it , I would spend the $150 on gas and drive there to get it. It sounds like you might have just bought it. This way you will get to see what you are getting before you spend all that money.

KatyMills 		Ground transporation could cost upwards of 1700 dollars. Your best bet unfortunately is by airline. I recently flew with my dog from San Fran to Hartford, and one way cost me $175. He was also bigger and was put in cargo. I think for dogs who weren't in cargo it cost about $150 one way. Some airlines also have pet priority programs. These are around 300 dollars. You could also try pilotsandpaws, as they transport the dogs for free, but you have to work to find people to transport the dog. All of their services are volunteer.

*edit. I paid $132 for the dog crate and $53 for the travel certificate and seditives. I had to fly with my dog because we were moving.

PriyaM 		No that is horrible. Do not ship dogs across places. It could die. Take it yourself, that is sad to ship it all on its own.
