POLL/SURVEY: Do you ever have nightmares about spending the rest of your life in the Suburbs?

I live in Northwest Houston.


Okay, I take that back: I *rot* in Northwest Houston, as a 22 year-old guy.

How can ANYONE want to live in a suburb?!
There's no community, no fun places to go, nowhere to meet chicks!

Everyone is like 40+ and there's grocery stores and eateries and houses with lawns!

HOW BORING IS THAT!!!

I actually would hate to live in the city! My extended family lived there for years and years and I visited every weekend. I hated it; there were enormous water bugs at night and they got in the shower, there was nothing but cement EVERYWHERE, and there was never a relaxing, quiet moment. Hated it. I'll stay in the suburbs for the rest of my life =)

KatyMills 		I'm the opposite. I have nightmares about living in the suburbs because it is not the country!
I want a yard big enough to have a garden, instead of a few plants. I also want some privacy, instead of hearing kids screaming, dogs barking, etc.

I lived in the suburbs for a few years. I still don't know how I survived being surrounded by houses and gas stations and freeways, and where the most important thing was the high school football team. No offense of course. But I found it very stifling, and all hours that I wasn't lounging around the house were spent in the actual city.

iit's like that song the ballad of lucy jordan.

i don't want to live in the city though either. i want to live in a shack on the beach where in ireland.

tmvijai 		you said it!!! your 22... go have fun. the suburbs can be ok ;you just have to be ready for it..settle down territory.............. not for you go travel and live life, your young.
